Apple's iPhone Duo functions as a foldable tablet-phone hybrid designed specifically for frequent travelers.
What: The iPhone Duo is a foldable device intended to serve as both a standard smartphone and a miniature tablet. While commuters and business travelers may find utility in its screen real estate, regular users may find its non-folded form factor average or frustrating.
Why it matters: This indicates a shift toward hybrid hardware where Apple is attempting to bridge the gap between pocket-sized phones and portable tablets to satisfy a specific professional demographic.
